Today is a sad day for League Of Legends fans. The almighty SK Telecom T1, winner of three world championships, has announced that Bengi, Duke and coach Poohmandu will be leaving the organization. Each member was instrumental in taking those world championship titles and proving that Korea is still the most dominant region in gaming.

Bengi has been with the team since 2013 is one of the best junglers in the world. It doesn't matter which champion he picked, you know it was going to be flawless play. During the 2016 World Championship, Bengi played Nidalee for the first time on stage, and crushed it. If Riot ever puts together a League Of Legends Hall Of Fame, Bengi’s face will be plastered on the marquee, a sign that this esports professional was one of the best to hold a mouse.

Bengi and Duke will most likely go to another team, most likely in China, and will continue to play League.

SK Telecom released a press release on Twitter thanking the players for their hard work and dedication.

According to sources, SKT managed to keep Faker with an “unprecedented offer” never before seen in esports. We can only speculate, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was below seven figures.
