One of the main features that players can expect when The Crew Motorfest is officially launched is its Playlists. These are self-contained and themed campaigns that have around six to 10 events, focused on a specific brand, car type, or even an aspect of car culture.
The good news is that players don't need to own a specific car to join Playlists. That's because in Playlists, players are provided with loaner vehicles which are appropriate to each of the events. Those able to complete all the events in a playlist can unlock an exclusive car that can be added to the garage.
There are also Playlists with special victory conditions. A good example of this is the 911 Legacy: A Porsche Story Playlist. Here, players get bonuses if they drive clean and the car is free of damage. Vintage Garage, meanwhile, is where players get to drive classic cards but with the GPS minimap turned off.
Another thing to know about Playlists is that each has a different guide which talks players throughout the events. In Electric Odyssey, tech journalist Danny is the one guiding players on the design and capabilities of all-electric supercars. Danny is also the one who's going to talk to players about pre-race events.
Those able to win Playlist races not only get XP and in-game currency, but also new parts which can be used to trick out rides and boost their performance. Obviously, this won't have an impact on the loaner cars used in the Playlists. However, players can bring these parts to their personal garage.
What do you think? Excited to try out the Playlists?
