If you're not part of a zerg rush already pre-ordering your Nintendo Switch, you may notice that the tail end of tonight's presentation was a brand-new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Turns out we got more The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild info than we bargained for, as information for collector's editions has released online.
The two collector's editions are Special Edition and Master Edition:
Master Edition will run you $129.99, while the Special Edition is $99.99.
Master Edition includes the following:
- Master Sword Statue
- Nintendo Switch Sheikah Slate Carrying Case
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Game
- 24-song soundtrack CD
- Sheikah eye collectible coin
- Relic of Hyrule: Calamity Ganon Tapestry and Well-Worn Map
The Special Edition includes everything the Master edition has except for the Master Sword statue, which is admittedly a striking and neat-looking piece of Zelda memorabilia.
We also have a look at what the game's box art will look like when we can finally hold it in our sweaty, grasping hands:
Here's the boxes for the different editions:
What do you think of the two different editions? Personally I can't wait for an art book, or perhaps an addendum to the Hyrule Historia. Or both. Why not both? I'm just so excited we finally have a release date for this beautiful-looking game. Pre-orders for the collector's editions don't appear to be live yet, but we'll keep you posted for the two-second window in which they are available.
