‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Season 2: Arrow Tours The Waverider & First Look At Citizen Steel [10 PHOTOS]

Legends of Tomorrow premieres Oct. 13 and now we know for sure that Oliver Queen will make an appearance in Season 2 episode 1, “Out of Time.” These 10 newly released premiere photos show Arrow, in plain clothes, looking around the Waverider and getting into an altercation with Heat Wave.

In one slightly amusing shot, White Canary, Heat Wave, Firestorm, Atom and Rip are all crouching in the back of a tiny pick-up truck with a white-haired Albert Einstein. There’s also an odd picture of Damien Darhk giving us a demonic glare, and finally, our first look at Nick Zano as Nate Haywood (unfortunately not in Citizen Steel form).

The premiere episode starts with the Legends scattered across time. Entertainment Weekly reports Citizen Steel has been sent (by JSA?) to locate them. It’s unclear why Oliver is involved. Maybe he’s comes to see if Sara is okay after Laurel’s death. He could also be asking Sara for help with fulfilling his promise to Laurel. Or, maybe he’s looking for advice about something relating to their time on Lian Yu.

It also remains to be seen what Damien Darhk is doing. His presence begs the question if we’ll also see Malcolm Merlyn, Captain Cold and the Reverse Flash in the premiere episode since they’re all teaming together as The Legion of Doom across all four DC TV shows.

In addition to Citizen Steel, other new members of the Legends cast include Hourman, Stargirl, Dr. Mid-Nite, Obsidian and Vixen. We may not meet all of these new characters in the premiere, but considering the second episode is titled “Justice Society of America,” it’s safe to say we’ll become acquainted early in Season 2.

Legends of Tomorrow returns Oct. 13.
