The hype just got a whole lot realer for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. A new promo is jam-packed with easter eggs for the upcoming season. The most exciting is the glimpse of Stargirl at the 20-second mark.
This footage of Stargirl is the first of a JSA member on Legends , aside from Hourman’s brief appearance in the Season 1 finale episode. It’s unclear when in the season we’ll meet Dr. Mid-Nite and Obsidian, and Citizen Steel, also confirmed as JSA members for Season 2. It is now clear that JSA will team up with the Legends at some point since Stargirl fights alongside Heat Wave in the promo.
With the new team of superheroes comes a new group of supervillains. Spot The Reverse Flash, a member of DCTV’s take on the Legion of Doom, at 20 seconds. The promo also confirms White Canary has moved on from her Season 1 fling, Captain Cold. Rip calls her out for ‘seducing’ the Queen of France eight seconds into the trailer. The CW has different plans for Captain Cold this season.
The Reverse Flash will team up with Captain Cold, Damien Darhk, and Malcolm Merlyn (all cast as series regulars for The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl as well) to form the Legion of Doom and wreak havoc across the Arrowverse. However, Rip Hunter has recruited one more hero to the Wave Rider to help fend off the Legends’ many adversaries. While she wasn’t pictured in the teaser, Vixen will join the team. Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim tweeted out her costume shortly after the release of the teaser. Take a look:
