There is a lot of potential in season 1 episode 6 of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, “Star City 2046.” Second-generation Arrow and Deathstroke are both slated for an appearance. One of Slade Wilson’s sons, either Joe Wilson (aka Jericho) or Grant Wilson (aka Ravager) will play Deathstroke #2. The second Green Arrow, Connor Hawke, appears to have taken over Oliver Queen’s vigilante duties in the 2046 version of Star City.

Who is Deathstroke, Grant or Joe? If you don’t want to know, stop reading here because there are serious spoilers ahead.

The last episode of DC Legends of Tomorrow, “Fail-Safe,” left off just as the Legends team arrived in Star City. Knocked out of the time stream, Rip Hunter’s Wave Rider ship crash-landed in the midst of time. After landing in 2046, a universe where Vandal Savage is still alive and well, the Legends find Star City has been ravaged and destroyed. The team immediately encounters a man they believe to be the Arrow they know, Oliver Queen. However, as soon as they get a good look at him, the masked archer is not Oliver, but the Arrow’s future protege, Connor Hawke.

“I’ve never heard of any Legends,” Hawke says as he raises his bow toward White Canary. Even more exciting, leaked set photos suggest an older version of Oliver Queen’s Arrow will also make an appearance alongside Connor Hawke. Yes, that’s right. Expect a full blown Arrow crossover on the next episode of DC Legends of Tomorrow fittingly titled “Star City 2046.”

In the comics, Connor is the second Green Arrow, and also Oliver’s son. It’s unclear how The CW will work the new Arrow into the TV storyline. Seeing Oliver already has a newly discovered son, William, it’s probable Connor will have different origins. CinemaBlend reportedly confirmed Connor Hawke will not be Oliver and ex-girlfriend Sandra Hawke’s son in DC Legends of Tomorrow. Connor may just end up being a good samaritan who wanted to make sure Star City still had an Arrow once Oliver retired.

Oddly enough, in the “Star City 2046” trailer, the new Green Arrow tells Sara, “Oliver Queen is dead.” However, at the end of the clip Sara spots an older looking Stephen Amell sporting a beard. “Oliver!” she shouts at him. In the pictures, it looks like Oliver has a bionic arm. What happened to him since 2016?

Deathstroke will also make an appearance, but probably not Slade Wilson’s version seeing last we heard he was locked up at the A.R.G.U.S. supermax prison on Lian Yu. Multiple source s report Grant Wilson was listed as Deathstroke on the production stills. Looks like Connor Hawke already has an arch nemesis in 2046 Star City. CW’s official synopsis of DC Legends episode 6 does not mention a single thing about the identity of 2046 Deathstroke.

Here is the CW’s official synopsis:

When a malfunction sends the Waverider crashing into 2046 Star City, our heroes face a startling version of their own future where they never stop Savage (guest star Casper Crump) and never return home. The city is in ruins and overrun by criminals, which thrills Rory (Dominic Purcell). Sara (Caity Lotz) is despondent over the destruction of her home and stunned when she learns what happened to her old friend, Oliver Queen (guest star Stephen Amell).

DC Legends of Tomorrow is finally picking up some steam. From the sound of it, episode 6 will make up for the lack of action in the last Arrow episode, “Code of Silence.”

The biggest question for the next episode of Legends of Tomorrow, who is still alive in Star City 2046. Will we learn the fate of Oliver’s son, William? Could Roy Harper (aka The Arsenal) make an appearance?
