Life is Strange episode 5 will be the final installment for Max, Chloe and Rachel Amber’s story.
Life is Strange game director Raoul Barbet and producer Luc Baghadoust confirmed the news to iDigitalTimes during a Square Enix event for New York Comic Con. Life is Strange episode 5 is the final chapter with this particular story line.
“We can say the story will end in episode five. It’s our last episode,” Barbet said. “Max and Chloe’s story is complete.”
The upcoming episode of Life is Strange will wrap up the big mystery behind Rachel Amber’s disappearance. iDigi caught a sneak peek of the new teaser fans will get to see in a few days. The teaser won’t show you who is in the infamous dark room with Max, but we can tell you might get to see her on a plane. Barbet also couldn't promise you won't shed a few tears at the end of the episode.
As for a potential Life is Strange 2, Barbet and Baghadoust told iDigi they don’t know what’s next for the franchise. Right now, the Life is Strange team is working on the finishing touches of episode 5 and hope fans are satisfied with the ending.
Life is Strange episode 5 release date is scheduled for Oct. 20 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
