One last trailer for Mafia 3 is out now, before the game hits store shelves and digital distribution services on Thursday night, featuring many of the people and places we’ll see in New Bordeaux after Mafia 3 is out on PC and consoles. This week’s trailer also features a brand new song from the Mafia 3 soundtrack, created by DJ Shadow and the legendary Ice Cube.
If you’ve been keeping an eye on Mafia 3 in recent weeks, it probably won’t come as much of a shock that there isn’t any big information left to reveal about the upcoming open-world title. 2K and Hangar 13 have published countless trailers in recent months, highlighting everything from Lincoln Clay’s “talent for violence” to the various services available to New Bordeaux’s next big crime boss. Instead, the last pre-launch trailer for Mafia 3 decides to go the cinematic route, pairing eye-catching game footage with a brand new song from DJ Shadow and Ice Cube. We also get another look at the impact Clay’s actions will have on the city he calls home.
