Mario, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Luigi are back! They’re teaming up with new allies, including none other than Bowser. They’ll be fighting alongside each other in the upcoming Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, coming out on October 20 to Nintendo Switch.
The game offers tactical gameplay designed for all types of players, from the newbies to tactical game hardcore veterans. The combination of real-time action and free movement allows for a new kind of combat experience.
Fight Tactical Battles
In Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, players can choose from a roster of nine heroes and form a team of three. At the start of their turn, each hero can move freely within their individual range and dash at enemies, team jump on allies, or take cover. Each hero has two action points that can be spent to attack, use an item, or activate Spark Power.
Players must locate and save Sparks to have them join their adventure, where each Spark has a unique power.
Go Exploring
Another feature that players can expect is exploration. Players can form a team of heroes and freely explore a series of planets corrupted by the evil influence of Cursa and saturated with the chaotic creativity of the Rabbids.
Each planet comes with its own unique setting, characters, and atmosphere. Players need to solve puzzles, participate in activities, find collectibles, and of course, rescue new Sparks.
New Collaboration
Developer and publisher Ubisoft revealed that legendary composer Yoko Shimomura and multi-award winner Gareth Coker are joining the adventure. Not only that, but acclaimed video game composer Grant Kirkhope is also making a return to the series.

Pre-order for the game is now open. The Standard Edition is available at $59.99, while the Gold Edition is priced at $89.99, which has the base game, Season Pass, and the Galactic Prestige Pack. Plus, those who pre-order can get the Megabug Collection which has nine weapon skins.
