PC players received tons of new information yesterday about Sony’s latest PC port, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. A new trailer was revealed that showed off all the new bells and whistles fans can expect. We are talking about ultra-wide support, DLSS and DSAA support, ray tracing, better shadows, and much more. You can check out our previous article to know more about the PC features.
That’s not all that was revealed. An official blog post mentioned the system requirements of the game, and they vary, quite a lot actually.
System Requirements
The game can run on a decent rig but don’t expect impressive visuals. If you want ray tracing, 4K, and high settings, you need quite a high-end PC; the game also needs 75 GB of free storage space. An HDD will work but the developer recommends SSD for better loading times. The game will only run on Windows 10 64-bit; sorry Windows 7 users, looks like you aren’t playing this game.
If you want to run the game at 720p at 30 FPS in very low settings, you need 8 GB of RAM. You will also require NVIDIA Geforce 950 as your GPU and Intel Core-i3 4160 as your CPU.
To run the game at 1080p at 60 FPS in medium graphics, the RAM requirement goes up to 16 GB. Players will also need an Intel Core-i5 4670 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 as their CPU. For GPU, players will need either a GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB variant) or AMD Radeon RX 580.
The developer has revealed system requirements for five different graphical settings. You can check out the screenshots above or visit the official blog.
Other Upcoming PC Games
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered isn’t the only PS-exclusive game coming to PC. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, The Last of Us Part 1, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection are confirmed to arrive on PC. However, their system requirements are not known at the moment.
