Substantial details regarding Mass Effect: Andromeda have been limited until iDigitalTime's own Bob Fekete reported some interesting details regarding some Andromeda plot leaks. Now, gameplay footage have leaked online. What's more, although the original footage was quickly pulled, NeoGAF forum user Taker34 shared the video and claimed it was taken from the website of a "certain developer who is currently working on Andromeda." Taker34 also claims that the video is an excerpt of test footage from a "late 2014 build" and that the game allegedly "doesn't look like this now."
Notable developments in this build are highlighted in text. A slew of visual effects development were demonstrated, including ambient flame bursts, fog elements, rain and rain impacts. Additionally, accessories like a new jet pack and weapons like the pollen plumes were also revealed. Finally, a singular rendering of a meteorite impact on lunar surface was shown in multiple angles to highlight lighting variations.
