The classic run-and-gun platformer Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection has finally received its launch date for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Publisher Capcom has announced that it will launch both physically and digitally for consoles in North America, and digitally in Europe.
Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection contains six action packed entries in the Mega Man series. The collection features two series of games alongside a host of new features for both long-time fans and brand-new players. The included games are as follows: All four Mega Man Zero games, Mega Man ZX, and Mega Man ZX Advent.
For those who did not experience playing these firsthand on the consoles of the 2000’s, the Mega Man Zero series follows Zero and his journey to save Neo Arcadia centuries after the events of Mega Man X by mastering some of the most challenging and thrilling boss battles ever across all four Mega Man Zero games. Aside from the classic action platforming formula followed by the previous Mega Man X series, Mega Man Zero includes upgradeable weapon skills, unique EX abilities, and gameplay-altering “Cyber Elves” that offer players a wide range of enhancements. As for the two other games, Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent, these follow and build on the previous series’ gameplay elements whilst allowing players to explore and experiment in the game’s open world map.
Aside from the expected improvements, Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection will also get the Save-Assist system. This will certainly help newbies adjust to the skill-intensive gameplay of the series. An added repository of art and music will also be available. A bonus of ten special arrangements are given to those who pre-order the collection.
Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection will launch on January 21, 2020 in North America and Europe. For the North America market, a physical and digital version will be available for $29.99 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. European fans only have the opportunity to purchase the digital version of the game.
