Good news Monster Hunter fans, Monster Hunter Stories on the 3DS will be getting a second wave of amiibo figures! Three more figures are coming, and all three will release on Dec. 8, two months after the release of Monster Hunter Stories.
It should be noted these are the Japanese release dates. It hasn’t been mentioned yet when the Monster Hunter amiibo will come to the United States.
The three amiibo figures are Cheval riding a Rathian, Ayuria riding a Barioth (glacier) and Dan riding a Qurupeco. These figures will join the first three amiibo announced: a male and female protagonist, each riding a One-Eyed Rathalos, along with Nabiru.
It’s also been reported the amiibo figures can be removed from the monsters, allowing the figures to ride on any monster you want. Perfectly-Nintendo says these figures will cost 1,800 Yen, so expect them to retail in America for roughly $15-20.
