Monster Hunter Rise is finally coming to PC tomorrow. This latest addition to the Monster Hunter series has players take on the role of a hunter, use different weapons, and explore new maps. The PC version also comes with extra additional visual- and performance-enhancing optimizations.
Monster Hunter Rise was first released on Nintendo Switch in March 2021. Upon its release, it received a generally positive review with many citing the gameplay and the expansion of the mechanics. In addition, at least 7.5 million copies have been sold, making it the second best-selling game in the franchise.
Availability of DLC
Before we go into the details of the game, the development team revealed in a post that once it is launched, some paid DLC items will be available. However, there could be some delay before all the products are shown in the store. In particular, bundles with multiple items of paid DLC at a reduced price are only going to show up in the store once each item in that bundle is available separately there.
