My Hero One's Justice 2 is set to be released to the Americas on multiple platforms in 2020. Based on the popular Shonen Jump series My Hero Academia, this is the second game to come out under the My Hero One's Justice brand. This anime-action fighting game is being launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
In the first iteration of My Hero One's Justice, players got to meet characters that include All Might, Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, and Ochaco Uraraka. This new game continues with the original cast, but this time brings a new set of characters that include Yakuza captain Kai Chisaki and even the U.A. High School Big 3: Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado. Then there is also Mina Ashido and Minoru Mineta from Class 1-A. Overall there are 40 playable characters for players to enjoy.
In addition to offering new stories and stages, My Hero One's Justice 2 also comes with improved gameplay, which ensures that player have that robust experience.
Randy Le, the Brand Manager at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc., said that this new game will give fans the chance to live the anime and experience inconic moments from the show. He assures that "fans will love My Hero One's Justice 2 as it takes the dynamic action and intense battles of My Hero One's Justice to a brand-new level.”
My Hero Academia is set in a world where people with superpowers, known as Quirks, is considered the norm. Despite being bullied for not having such a Quirk, Izuku Midoriya continues to hope of becoming a hero someday. After being the only one to try and save Katsuki Bakugo, his childhood bully, the greatest hero All Might saves Midoraya. All Might then decides to present Midoraya with his own Quirk known as "One for All." The story follows Midoraya as he enters U.A. High School. Midoriya and his new friends try to balance hero training with typical school duties. All the while, they need to be on their toes against the League of Villains.
