My Nintendo Rewards Program: Getting Started, Prizes And Missions Detailed

Nintendo’s latest rewards program, My NIntendo , is now live and allows for fans to collect coins, redeem those coins for prizes and complete missions to gain even more.

Collecting coins is rather simple. You can collect coins by completing “missions” (we’ll get to that a bit later), purchasing Nintendo video game products and registering them with your My Nintendo Account and by logging-in weekly.

We’ve compiled a quick getting started section and the Rewards and Missions list in the new My Nintendo Rewards Program.

GETTING STARTED

But first, to get started you’ll need to create or log-in to your new Nintendo Account. The sign-up process for the new Nintendo Account is pretty simple. If you had a Nintendo Network ID before, just input your username and password and you’ll receive a verification email. Input the code and you are ready to go.

This is the easiest way to get your old ID synced to the new system, but if you are a brand new Nintendo player who doesn’t have a previous ID, it may be simpler to just sync with one of your social media accounts.

Once that’s done, you’ll be prompted to complete the first “mission,” which is to link your Nintendo Network ID to your Nintendo Account. Then you’ll be prompted to purchase

MISSIONS

Here is a list of the Missions you can complete to earn Nintendo Points. There may be more added in the future but here are the preliminary missions in the My Nintendo Rewards Program. There are three kinds of points, the first is Platinum Points that are gained in the My Nintendo Rewards Program site.

Miitomo Points are added on the iOS and Android social app and can be used for different activities and customizable Mii clothes.

Gold Points are the only gained when purchasing video games and registering them to the My Nintendo site. These points are redeemed for eShop downloadable games and Nintendo 3DS themes. Here is the list of missions:

Platinum Points

1. Link your Nintendo Network ID to your Nintendo Account - 100 Platinum Points

2. Sign-in to Nintendo eShop (weekly) - 30 Platinum Points

3. Sing-in to Miiverse (weekly) - 30 Platinum Points

4. Link Facebook Account to Nintendo Account - 10 Platinum Points

5. Link Twitter Account to Nintendo Account - 10 Platinum Points

6. Link Google+ Account to Nintendo Account - 10 Platinum Points

Miitomo Points

1. Link Miitomo to a Nintendo Account - 100 Miitomo Points

2. Add a friend using the face-to-face method - 100 Miitomo Points

3. Change your Mii’s clothes (daily) - 5 Miitomo Points

4. Give 3 answers in one day (daily) - 5 Miitomo Points

5. Get 5 hearts on your answers in one day (daily) - 10 Miitomo Points

6. Get 5 comments on your answers (daily) - 10 Miitomo Points

7. Listen to your friends’ answers 10 times in one day (daily) - 5 Miitomo Points

8. Link Miitomo to your Facebook Account - 100 Miitomo Points

9. Link Miitomo to your Twitter Account - 100 Miitomo Points

Gold Points

1. Downloadable game purchase $5.99-$9.99 - 10 Gold Points

2. Downloadable game purchase $10-$19.99 - 20 Gold Points

3. Downloadable game purchase $20-$20.99 - 30 Gold Points

4. Downloadable game purchase $30-$30.99 - 40 Gold Points

5. Downloadable game purchase $40-$40.99 - 50 Gold Points

6. Downloadable game purchase $50-$50.99 - 60 Gold Points

7. Downloadable game purchase $60-$60.99 - 70 Gold Points

8. Downloadable game purchase $70 or more - 80 Gold Points

REWARDS

The My Nintendo Rewards include Nintendo 3DS themes and 3DS and Wii U games. Each redeemed game varies in price but you should check out when that particular game or theme is available until.
