'Myth of Empires' Dev Shares New Details About Upcoming Persia DLC

Myth of Empires' upcoming Persia DLC will add a ton of new content and the developer plans to give out free character transfers ahead of its release. Steam, Angela Game

Developer Angela Game shared new details about the upcoming Persia DLC for "Myth of Empires" and what players can expect, including free player transfers and new weapons.

The decision to provide free player transfers between servers was made to consolidate the economy shortly before the latest DLC arrived at the game. A post on Steam said that due to the current fragmentation of the game world, some have seen reduced player numbers.

Myth of Empires' Persia DLC

The situation has resulted in a scarcity of items that players in these affected worlds see in the Trading Post. Angela Game plans to address the issue and enhance player experience by enabling cross-server character transfer right before the Persia DLC drops.

After the registration for the transfer process is completed, players' characters will only be moved to the new servers after the next maintenance.

The limitation of this feature is that only Classic Era and Lotus Era characters can be brought into New Era, according to MMORPG.

On top of the characters, the transfer process will also bring along character-specific stats, leveling progress, experience, and more. The things that will not be carried over are mounts, guilds, and warriors.

Players who play this weekend will also get a 100% increased Moth yield and get a chance for a 100% extra yield of crafted Arrows. This makes it a great opportunity to start stocking up for future content in the game.

What To Expect

On top of the free transfers, the developer revealed some of the new weapons that will be added to the Persia DLC. These include the Inferno Hatchet, Sabo Plate Hammer, and Divine Light Spear, which all have unique designs and benefits, Bleeding Cool said.

The Persia DLC will also let players walk around the game world aboard a powerful and menacing woodcutting mech. This machinery marvel stands tall at nearly 20 feet and needs to have two players to become operational.

The upcoming woodcutting mech will be able to field a different collection tool on each of its two arms, and they can be swapped out, giving players three options to choose from.

This particular metallic suit is among the previews of new technical marvels that will come with the Persia DLC.

There will also be a mechanized horse transport platform and a series of water platform pieces that will let you create your own customizable mobile water base. Despite the teases, there is still no official release date for the DLC, according to MassivelyOP.
