The Narcos Season 2 release date is almost here. Pablo Escobar is on the run and since we already know his life will come to an end in due time, only one question remains: Who is responsible for Pablo Escobar’s death? A new Narcos Season 2 trailer lays out four suspects: Steve Murphy and the DEA, the Search Bloc, The Cali Cartel, or Los Pepes.
DEA agents Steve Murphy (Boyd Holbrook) and Javier Pena (Pedro Pascal) are probably the least of Pablo Escobar’s problems. The National Police of Colombia’s Search Bloc lead by Horacio Carrillo ( Maurice Compte ), and run by the President, are also on his tail. Then there’s the Escobars’ rivals, the Cali Cartel who are out for blood to take Escobar’s place as Colombia’s #1 drug supplier. If history is any indication, the Cali Cartel and the Search Bloc will share information gathered by Los Pepes, an opposition group funded by the Cali Cartel, and made up of former Medellin Cartel members and anyone ‘persecuted by Pablo Escobar.’
Some of Escobar’s family members claim they believe he killed himself before the DEA, Search Bloc, Cali Cartel, or Los Pepes got to him. Which ending do you think Netflix will choose? Let us know in the comments below!
