The new Need for Speed Showcase Update is here at last and while we previously mentioned that the new content still leaves a lot to be desired, I completely underestimated how transformative the new Wrap Sharing feature can be. Although the Need For Speed Wrap Editor has enjoyed multiple enhancements including "Mirror Decal" in past updates, the intricate tool is still somewhat cumbersome and can be extremely challenging when it comes to lining up graphics just right, especially when you lack steady hands or patience.
With Wrap Sharing, proud tuner artists on Need For Speed can show off their master creations. Meanwhile, players that are less talented but still appreciate the art can download their favorite designs for their rides. Personally, I fall somewhat in between the two categories but I have been completely blown away by the elaborate and creative designs the community has produced to date.
To celebrate the latest feature available for Need for Speed, check out the compilation below for 16 of my favorite wrap designs so far. Obviously, I haven't seen all the wraps so I'm pretty sure my list will change by next week given the sheer number of players that continuously share their latest designs. What's more, Need For Speed's garage limit of five vehicles makes the compilation a little harder as I had to buy and sell vehicles just to figure out what sort of wraps are made available for it.

Fans of Formula D will be familiar with the contribution Falken has given to the sport of drifting. It's only natural to see this perfect recreation of the Falken on an S-chassis.Need for Speed
This livery on a right-hand-drive S13 just screams D1GP. Despite the somewhat wild design, the mild colorway brings everything together to create a really dope execution.Need for Speed
Smoking is bad but this livery is fantastic for three reasons. First, it's an homage to the golden era of Marlboro-sponsored racing teams in the late 80's and early 90's. Secondly, the S13's reputation as a chain 'tire-smoker' is a funny play on the cigarette company. Finally, I created it (shameless plug).Need for Speed
More D1GP-inspired liveries! The JDM sutairu is simply at home on this classic AE86 canvas. It's Straight Outta Ebisu.Need for Speed
You can't say Hachi Roku without Fujiwara Tofu Delivery. Well, you can... but you really can't.Need for Speed
It's amazing how simple, clean and perfect classic TRD livery looks on a Rocket Bunny FR-S. The wide-body kit is totally played out because so many people have it, but there's a reason why.Need for Speed

A Calsonic Hakosuka? I don't think that ever happened in real life, but you can't go wrong with a livery from the legendary team that manifested the term "Godzilla" after dominating the Japan Touring Car Championship with the R32 Skyline GT-R.Need for Speed
This is probably my favorite design of all. The police livery is brought to life with battered patina that brings attention to the age of the Hako. Need for Speed
Let the Hakosuka GT-R relive its youth with a more period-correct racing livery.Need for Speed
the black and gold colorway was made famous by the Kenmeri C110 GT-R. It looks just as handsome on the Hako.Need for Speed

I set an unusually high bar for available liveries for the Porsche 993 but it's sad to say there were far less than I expected. That said, the TEAM Taisan JGTC livery came as a big surprise. Need for Speed
The Martini stripe Porsche needs no introduction and the colorway looks absolutely fabulous on the RWB wide-body. Need for Speed
If the rusty Hakosuka GT-R police car is my favorite, then this HKS R32 Skyline GT-R is a close second. Take a moment to appreciate the painstakingly accurate HKS livery. As far as time, effort, and dedication to accuracy is concerned, this is the best wrap on the list.Need for Speed
