Blizzard just teased the next Hearthstone expansion with a postcard on their Facebook page. It says “Greeting from Gadgetzan, it’s as clean as it is safe!” with picture of one of the houses in the mech-filled wasteland.
There’s also tiny text around the edge that’s impossible to read without a microscope, but it says: "We take no responsibility on any claims made on this souvenir of propaganda, or any predictions, suppositions, prophecies, harbingers, omens, portents, or conclusions that may arise. The word 'safe' is not meant to constitute a binding agreement and does not imply safety, security, protection, preservation, peace of mind, confidence, reliability, dependability, or trustworthiness. Mayor Noggenfogger is not responsible for any accidents, burglaries, thoughtsteals…” From there it just lists dangerous problems you might encounter in Azeroth like demonwraths, flamestrikes and acts of Old Gods.
Gadgetzan in World Of Warcraft is an outpost controlled by gnomes, where all sort of dangerous contraptions reside. There are Piloted Shredders, Fel Reavers and a ton of other bad ass killing machines. Expect a ton of new mechs in this expansion, and maybe even some new gnomes.
The expansion should be officially announced at Blizzcon on Nov. 4.
