Here are the official Patch Notes for Overwatch's Halloween Terror event.
After what feels like eons of waiting, the newest Overwatch Halloween patch is finally out, It’s called “Halloween Terror” and comes with a ton of new stuff. A new Brawl puts four players up against Junkrat as Junkenstein, who sends hordes of enemies in an attempt to destroy all who oppose him -- y’know, normal Junkrat stuff. There’s a new Loot Box, featuring Halloween skins and special RIP Victory Emotes. Here’s what a new Loot Box opening looks like.
Halloween Terror skins can be purchased with coins, something you couldn’t do in the last Olympic event. Thanks for listening to the fans, Blizzard, much obliged.
There’s no word on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One availability yet, but we will update this page whenever it goes live. The patches are live on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Just open your game and the download should start immediately. The file is pretty big, the Xbox patch is 3.7 GB.
If you are on PC, just restart the client and the new 1.6 GB patch should start downloading. If it’s taking way too long and you need to get your hands on that Reaper skin, go to the bottom of the client, go to settings and set both values as zero. This should speed up your download time, though there are still millions of players trying to download the same patch as you, so you might have to be a bit patient.
