A second trailer for AMC’s new series, The Night Manager, has been released. Tom Hiddleston ( The Avengers ) and Hugh Laurie ( House ) will star in the six episode mini-series based on John Le Carré's 1993 novel of the same name. Hiddleston (Jonathan Pine) is an ex soldier who works the night shift as a manager at a hotel but becomes an undercover officer for the British Intelligence Agency. He is sent to expose Laurie (Onslow Roper), an international arms dealer.

Here is the official synopsis :

The Night Manager mini-series will bring together love, loss and revenge in a complex story of modern criminality. The eagerly anticipated series follows former British soldier Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston) as he navigates the shadowy recesses of Whitehall and Washington where an unholy alliance operates between the intelligence community and the secret arms trade. To infiltrate the inner circle of lethal arms dealer Richard Onslow Roper (Hugh Laurie), Pine must himself become a criminal.

The TV adaptation also stars Olivia Colman ( Peep Show) , Elizabeth Debicki ( A Few Best Men) and Tom Hollander ( Pirates of the Caribbean , Pride & Prejudice ) . Academy Award Winning Susanne Bier ( Brothers, In a Better World ) will direct the series.

The Night Manager is produced by BBC One, The Ink Factory and AMC. The series is set to premiere 10 p.m. EST, April 19th, on AMC in the U.S., but will first debut at the Berlin International Film Festival this month.
