Those looking for a new kind of sports experience need not look further than Nintendo Switch Sports game. This game is the latest version of the Wii Sports series and has Soccer, Volleyball, Bowling, Tennis, Badminton, and even Chambara. It's launching April 29 on Nintendo Switch.
Playing different sports is rather easy because the controls are intuitive. Players can simply hit the court, for example, and immediately get started. With controlled motions, players can also do a lot of actions like adding spin to a tennis shot or curving the bowling ball. Then, there's the Joy-Con that comes with the Leg Strap accessory which makes playing soccer all the more exciting.
The game offers different modes like 1v1 or 2v2. Those looking to add a little chaos can opt for the free-for-all. In Bowling, players don't need to wait for their turn and just bowl simultaneously. It's also possible to play each sport online and take on opponents no matter where they may be in the world.
Speaking of going online, those who play in random matchmaking can earn points that can then be redeemed for various in-game rewards like outfits, sports accessories, and gear. The selection of items rotates each week, so be sure to always check what's available.
Online Play Test
In preparation for the upcoming launch, an Online Play Test is scheduled to determine the different technical aspects and help in improving the quality of the game. Testing is done through online random matches for Tennis, Bowling, and Chambara. Players who have active Nintendo Switch Online membership, including trial membership, can register starting February 15.
