Nintendo Switch stock will be delivered to Best Buy stores May 21, according to a recently discovered tweet from the retail chain’s customer support account. The information was publicly revealed after a patron was told systems were in stock but couldn't be released until Sunday.

No specific reason was offered as to why the consoles were being held for that specific date, but it should register as good news for those hoping to find one at a fair price. As it stands now, they’re generally about $100 above MSRP on most auction sites. With the notice we’ve offered, it’ll hopefully be possible to secure your prized goods while avoiding that fee.

It’s worth mentioning that the tweet seems to only apply to Best Buy’s physical retail locations in “limited quantities.” No word has been offered about stock replenishments arriving online, but it certainly doesn’t seem like there will be any. Part and parcel with most in-store promotions, there are also certain aspects that will be unique to individual locations. Some stores may put their Switch consoles on shelves, while others might personally handle them at customer service. For more specifics in that regard, feel free to call the number shown on the official store locator site.

For those who don’t happen to see this article in time, we have a few words of solace. This Best Buy restock arrives just three days after Amazon sold out of its limited Prime supply earlier this week. With that pattern in mind, it appears most major retailers have just received shipments. If you don’t find a Switch at Best Buy, maybe your local Target and GameStop got more as well.

It also may not hurt to check popular monitoring sites like NowInStock and BrickSeek as well. They specialize more in online sales rather than in-store ones, but, with more units arriving over the past few days, you might get lucky. You can even set up a text alert to be notified of any changes too.

The imminent release of ARMS and the start of E3 are good indicators that Nintendo will likely have more Switch consoles on store shelves in the days and months ahead. As we previously saw during the release window of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Nintendo likes to have product available for the arrival of high-profile software. Considering ARMS is a new IP that’s struggling to gain consumer mindshare, having Switches available to buy alongside the game seems like a pretty safe bet.

Nintendo Switch is available while supplies last for $299.
