Nvidia just released a new game-ready driver that adds support for Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 11 OS, Nvidia Reflex for Deathloop, optimal game profiles for new games, and DLSS for 28 indie titles on Steam.
Optimal Performance for New Games
There are a lot of big releases in the coming weeks and Nvidia is primed to support them with optimal game profiles.
Games such as Diablo II: Resurrected, New World, Hot Wheels Unleashed, Far Cry 6, World War Z: Aftermath, and the highly anticipated Alan Wake Remastered will all have the best performance possible if you are using a relatively new Nvidia graphics card.
Alan Wake Remastered will not be out until a few weeks from now, but Nvidia’s recent benchmark graph below showcases how the game can get more FPS when DLSS is enabled.
Nvidia Reflex for Deathloop
Deathloop is shaping up to be one of the best games in 2021. That said, Nvidia has implemented its Reflex technology to the game with the latest driver.
For those who do not know, Nvidia Reflex helps reduce input lag and system latency so that you can have a competitive advantage.
When enabled, the feature can reduce system latency by as much as 40%, as shown in the graph below:
The feature is available for those who are using Nvidia’s 900 Series graphics cards to the latest RTX 3000 lineup.
Added DLSS Support for 28 Indie Titles
Nvidia released its DLSS technology as a free plugin earlier this year to help developers boost the performance of their games without hassle. Since then, some indie titles on Steam feature support for Nvidia DLSS right out of the box. These games are:
