Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is launching on both Android and iOS this year. This immersive mobile RPG experience serves as a prequel to the Octopath Traveler.
Octopath Traveler was first released on Nintendo Switch in July 2018 while the PC version came out in June 2019. A year later a version for Google Stadia was made available with the Xbox One version launched in March 2021. Since its release, the game has sold more than 2.5 million copies around the world and is received “generally favorable."
In the mobile version, players get to experience a new story, set a few years before the events of the first game. Players take on the role of “the Chosen One” as they travel in the world of Orsterra and fight to prevent ruthless tyrants from releasing the bottomless darkness.
