This game from Double Fine Productions tells the story of Razputin, a young psychic. He is on a quest to join the expert group of international psychic secret agents known as the Psychonauts. Due to his strong desire to join this group, he resorts to breaking into their secret training facility called the Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp. However, during this psychic summer camp, an evil villain shows up and kidnaps the other campers and what’s worse, the villain steals their brains. Razputin is now on a mission to project himself into the minds of the other campers using his psychic powers like Telekinesis, Levitation, and more, to take back the lost brains and prevent them from being taken by evil villains. As you go deeper into this mission, you battle it out with mental demons, discover hidden memories, deal with emotional baggage, and wander the vast realms of the mind.
The much-awaited sequel from Double Fine, Psychonauts 2, is set to take the E3 stage via E3 Coliseum this year. It will be presented by its creator, Tim Schafer, as well as actor, comedian and musician Jack Black. The title releases sometime this year for the PC and consoles. Expect a release date announcement during E3.
