Overwatch Season 3 ends Feb. 21 at 7 p.m.. EST.
Like all Overwatch seasons, there will be a one-week off-season where you can practice as much Bastion as you want. Season 4 will start on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. EST. I plan to wait a week after the season starts to begin grinding Competitive Play points; have to wait for all the eager kids to lose all their promotional games before starting mine.
We aren’t sure what sort of reset there will be for Competitive Points. Last season, your previous season’s CP was taken into account when playing your promo games. There’s been no official announcement from Blizzard about what’s going to happen, but I suspect that season three’s CP will factor into how you rank in season 4.
End of season rewards are based on your highest rank, not where you ended the season. Even if you titled really hard this weekend (like me), you’ll still end up with the rewards for the highest rank you achieved. Here’s a full list of the CP you’ll get, depending on which rank you got in season 3.
1-1499 Bronze 100 CP
1500-1999 Silver 200 CP
2000-2499 Gold 400 CP
2500-2999 Platinum 800 CP
3000-3499 Diamond 1200 CP
3500-3999 Master 2000 CP
4000-5000 Grandmaster 3000 CP
Oh, you are still here? I thought all you wanted to know was when the third season of Overwatch’s Competitive Play ends? It’s pretty clear this time around, there’s even a PlayOverwatch tweet and everything.
