Overwatch ’s ongoing Sombra ARG, an augmented reality game teasing a possible new hacker character named Sombra, has released another clue.
A post on the official Overwatch Battlenet forums from an account called Skycoder (a sly dig at ARG players who chased down a “skycode” dead end) reads:
“La que tiene la información; tiene el poder.”
(“She who has the information, has the power.”)
The thread is titled 0110010 00110011, which translates to “23.” The thread’s post time is counting down on an hourly basis.
After a few seconds, the page appears to glitch out and shows the following warped image of Reaper:
Then the following block of Base64 code appears:

The code can be translated to an ASCII image of a skull. The differences between this ASCII image and an ASCII skull extracted from a previous datamoshed image yielded the following data string:
LESPROMETIUNJUEGO...CREOQUEUSTEDESLOSDETECTIVESDEJUEGOSLOLLAMARIANUNTRAILHEAD?BLZGDAUSA-AMBAS-CALAVERAS.HTML
This, translated, means:
“I promised you a game. I believe you Games Detectives would call it a trailhead? BLZGDAUSA-AMBAS-CALAVERAS.HTML”
This clue leads to Ana’s medical records, here, under the patient name Janina Kowalska (a Polish version of “Jane Doe”). The video properties have the following note from Sombra:
“ Parecen estar muy interesados en estos "héroes". ¿Tal vez les interese conocer algunos detallitos que he averiguado sobre ellos?”
(“They seem to be very interested in these "heroes". Perhaps you might be interested in hearing some little details I've uncovered about them?")
The heartbeats directed players to a site called A Moment In Crime. Players sent an email to tips@amomentincrime.com and got the following message in response:
“We have analyzed your submission and forwarded the information to the relevant parties. Your help could be vital in apprehending these cri

minals and bringing them to justice. These fugitives are responsible for a string of robberies, arson, and other crimes stretching from Sydney to King's Row.
Authorities believe that they have set their sights on crossing the Atlantic to America.”
As for the Reaper image in the animation, players working on the Sombra ARG sent that to Sombra via Twitter:
Sombra appears to have replied by modifying the image sent to her, but players are still unraveling the substance of her reply.
