It feels like Payday 2's post-launch support will go forever. The game is seven years old and is still getting support from the devs. The latest update, the Family Matters Update, added tons of new things in the game. The 800MB patch released today not only added new content, but also made several tweaks. The update added one more heist related to Vlad. Brand new weapons have been added via the Fugitive Weapon Pack. New skins will also be available with Weapon Color Pack 2. You can learn about the new content along with pictures over here.
From now on, you can preview your weapon in your inventory with an increased angle. Limitations on rotating the weapon are reduced. You can also chat with your friends while in the inventory screen (thank you for this). A colorblind mode for the hurt indicator was added and several navigation bugs in the San Martin Bank heist are fixed.
