Beatstar: Touch Your Music has been named Game of the Year at the recently concluded Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards 2022. The game beat out 19 other games including Magic: The Gathering Arena, Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, PUBG: New State, and Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales.
It’s a good achievement for Beatstar considering that the award recognizes the finest mobile gaming experience. This is based on various factors such as creativity, audience engagement, innovation, as well as both critical and commercial success.
Beatstar - Touch Your Music is a rhythm game that features some of the latest music. Think Dance Dance Revolution but only on mobile.
The Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards 2022 was held at an exclusive ceremony at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly in London.
Steel Media CEO Chris James was the one who presented a total of 23 categories throughout the evening. He shared that the Mobile Games Awards celebrates the very best companies, games, and individuals of the past year. He added that the mobile gaming business has become huge, and this makes it even more challenging to have the awards show.
