Attention trainers! This month everyone is invited to join the Verdant Wonders event in Pokémon GO. It's going to run from March 21 to March 25. For this new event, new costumed Pokémon are appearing which are Cottonee wearing a flower crown and Whimsicott wearing a flower crown.
The event also has certain Pokémon appearing in specific regions and these are:
- Red Flower Flabébé
- Europe
- Middle East
- Africa
- Blue Flower Flabébé
- Asia-Pacific
- Yellow Flower Flabébé
- Americas
Trainers lucky enough though may get to encounter White Flower Flabébé and Orange Flower Flabébé, regardless of what region they're in.

- Bulbasaur
- Oddish
- Tangela
- Hoppip
- Poochyena
- Nuzleaf
- Shroomish
- Cottonee wearing a flower crown
- Cutiefly
Meanwhile, some trainers may get the chance to encounter:

- Pansear
- Panpour
- Zorua
Field Research
Verdant Wonders–themed Field Research tasks are also going to available during the event. These Pokémon are available to encounter one Field Research tasks are completed:
- Vulpix
- Poliwag
- Marill
- Slugma
- Cottonee wearing a flower crown
- Pansage
- Pansear
- Panpour
Trainers can also take on Verdant Wonders–themed Collection Challenges. Completing them let trainers obtain Stardust, XP, and an encounter with Cottonee wearing a flower crown.
The Rogue of the Jungle
For trainers who are looking for something more during the event, there's an exclusive Special Research story available which is Rogue of the Jungle. However it won't be free since there's a ticket that costs $7.99. This ticket can purchased from March 21 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) to March 25 at 8:00 p.m. (local time).
To get access to the Special Research story during the event, ticket holders need to login to the game between March 21 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) to March 25 at 8:00 p.m. (local team). Once the Special Research is received, it can be completed at any time. Those able to complete the Special Research story get to encounter Zarude.
There are also other Special Research rewards which include:
- Two Premium Battle Passes
- Six Silver Pinap Berries
- Five Rare Candies
- One Incense
- Various Dark-type and Grass-type Pokémon encounters
