The second part of Pokémon Go ’s holiday event has begun with the New Year’s festivities allowing for an increased encounter rate of the Gen 1 starters, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle and offering a slew of new item boxes with special items.

Not only that but Lure Modules now last for a full hour instead of 30 minutes in Pokémon Go.

But if you’re looking to gain an advantage and catch as many Gen 1 starters as possible (and get the candy needed to evolve them) you can purchase these sweet boxes that contain a bunch of Lucky Eggs to grind up your levels and Lure Modules to attract as many of these rare Pokémon as possible.

Here are the special boxes and what’s included in them.

Bronze Box - 460 Coins - 100 PokéBalls & 8 Lure Modules

Silver Box - 980 Coins - 8 Incense, 8 Lucky Eggs & 8 Lure Modules

Gold Box - 2480 Coins - 50 Great Balls, 25 Incense, 25 Lucky Eggs, 16 Lure Modules

For reference, 100 PokéCoins can be purchased in the Pokémon Go in-game shop for 99 cents, 550 PokéCoins are $4.99, and 1,200 PokéCoins are $9.99.

The New Year’s portion of the Pokémon Go Holiday Event begins Dec. 30 to Jan. 8 so be sure to go out and catch all of those elusive starter Pokémon and be sure to pick up some of these special deals while you’re at it.

And if you’re still looking for Togepi and the other Gen 2 baby Pokémon, you still have up to Jan. 3 to get an increased chance to hatch one. So be sure to pick up your special one-off incubators during this time.
