When the special Pokémon Sun and Moon demo was released, data miners found a lot of information that The Pokémon Company did not want leaked, including what appeared to be the rest of the Alola Dex and all of the Alola Forms.
However, a brand new Japanese trailer for Sun and Moon may have hinted that there is more information hidden within the games that was not in the demo, and it has to do with the new Pokémon, Wishiwashi.

In the trailer, it’s confirmed your trainer will have to face a Wishiwashi as a Totem Pokémon after you complete one of the Island Challenges. This piece of information is important because the data found in the Sun and Moon demo did not have a sprite for a Totem Wishiwashi.
There are seven Trial Captains and Totem Pokémon in Sun and Moon, and the confirmed Totem Pokémon from the demo leaks are: Gumshoos/Alola Raticate, Lurantis, Vikavolt, Salandit’s Evolution, Mimikyu and Kommo-o.
All of the following Pokémon had their information inside the demo’s data so the fact that there is no special sprite for Wishiwashi is a little fishy (pardon the pun).
Perhaps The Pokémon Company didn’t have everything in the demo coding, which is something plenty of fans are hoping for.
While this is by no means confirmation that there will be more Pokémon in Sun and Moon than what data miners discovered from the demos, it does keep hope alive that this may be the case. Or perhaps the Wishiwashi sprite will just be the same as its Totem form.
