The latest Pokémon Sun and Moon information has dropped and revealed new Pokémon while also giving English names to some Pokémon that were leaked in CoroCoro earlier in the week.
There’s a lot to get to but first, check out the new Pokémon Sun and Moon trailer and we’ll dive in right after.
First, Type: Null and Jangmo-o’s evolutions were officially revealed with Type: Null evolving into Silvally with the ability now being called RKS System. This new ability allows for Silvally to change its typing based on the hold item. And from the wording of this, it seems that there will be plenty of different hold items that can change its typing.
It also comes with the new attack, Multi Attack which changes its typing based on the current typing of Silvally.
Jangmo-o’s evolutions are now named Hakamo-o and Kommo-o. They each become Dragon and Fighting-type Pokémon and retain their Bulletproof and Soundproof abilities. The one bit of news is that Kommo-o will have a special move called Clanging Scales.
It was revealed that Bounsweet evolves twice, first into Steenee and then to Tsareena. Steenee keeps the Leaf Guard and Oblivious abilities while Tsareena has Leaf Guard and a new ability called Queen’s Majesty. This new ability prevents priority attacks from attacking.
Tsareena also has a new move called Trop Kick, which is a Grass-type physical attack.
Cutiefly’s evolution is finally revealed and its name is Ribombee. It has the abilities Shield Dust and Honey Gather.
We then get to see Alola Grimer and Alola Muk. They are both Poison/Dark-type Pokémon with the abilities Poison Touch and Gluttony.
And finally, two new trainers are introduced for Pokémon Sun and Moon. Olivia is an Island Kahuna who specializes in Rock-type Pokémon, the english trailer shows her having a Nosepass while the Japanese trailer shows her having Lycanroc Midnight Form.
Illima is finally introduced as a Trial Captain who specializes in Normal-type Pokémon.
Pokémon Sun and Moon will release Nov. 18 with a special demo being released Oct. 18.
