While fans are still waiting to see the evolutions of the starter Pokémon in Sun and Moon, a supposed leaked image popped up online showing off the final stages of Litten, Rowlet and Popplio. It, however, has been regarded as fake.

But with the latest Sun and Moon news, and trailers, the evidence to support these leaked final evolution starter Pokémon images has grown.

A NeoGaf thread brought up the new evidence from the leaked Pokémon images and it points to an NPC character in the drawings. This character is very similar to Mallow, one of the Trial Captains introduced in Sun and Moon.

Mallow specializes in Grass-type Pokémon and will ask your trainer to complete certain quests before she can pass you. However, in terms of the leaked starter Pokémon image she appears in the Fire starter’s concept art.

Considering she’s a Grass-type trainer, perhaps the main protagonist is using their Fire-type starter to defeat her. That’s all speculation at this point but the resemblance is uncanny.

And in case you were wondering what the Japanese text says, the NeoGaf thread roughly translated the text, which refers to each Pokémon as Owl3, Tiger3 and Sea lion3.

Owl3

1. Has a calmcool persona

2. Tightens its hood when it’s upset or irritated

3. Uses its quills as arrows and vines as the string.

4. It’s difficult to notice which helps it ambush foes

5. It likes to chill on Tree branches.

Tiger3.

1. Has a wild and gusty persona

2. Fights dirty- spits ember in its opponent’s face, isn't above using unconventional items or means, uses Fire Spin from its belt.

4. Has a signature move called BeastTiger Swing???

5. That Belt gets hotter the more "passionate" it is.

Sea lion3

1. Uses its voice to charm and or lure opponents

2. Has a elegant and welcoming nature

3. Is very playful
