After a big few months, it was only a matter of time for the games release schedule to start slowing down. June is definitely a down month across the board, but there are still a few big highlights to check out.

Multi-Platform
These are the games coming to both Xbox One and PS4 in June.
The first game coming in June is Dangerous Golf. Meant more as a golf parody game than anything else, Dangerous Golf will be coming out on June 3. Expect gifs of this game to light up the internet in the following weeks.
While already a big success on PC, Prison Architect comes to consoles on June 3. This simulation game sees you become the warden to a prison, managing upgrades, hiring new staff and more.
Hard Reset Redux is a first-person shooter set in the dystopian future city of Bezoar. Players have to fight their way through waves of machines all trying to upgrade to an all-powerful AI. Hard Reset Redux comes out on June 3.
Probably the biggest release of June, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst releases on June 7. A reboot of the Mirror’s Edge franchise, this open-world platformer/action game has been anticipated for many years.
While already released on PC as Fenix Rage, Fenix Furia finally makes a PS4 and Xbox One appearance on June 8. If you’re curious about the delay and change of name, check out this Newsweek article for more in-depth information.
In Between is a 2D platforming game with players solving all sorts of time and gravity-related puzzles. Expect a serious and somber tone, as the main character is a cancer patient trying to figure out life with what little he has left of it. In Between comes out on June 8.
Already available on Steam, Neon Chrome is a twin-stick shooter complete with four player co-op, big boss battles and more. Neon Chrome blasts onto PS4 and Xbox One starting June 8 as well.
Looking like an adventure game set in the world of Tron, Soul Axiom sees players stuck in the haunting cyber-world of Elysia. Featuring multiple different endings, explore Elysia and choose your destiny starting on June 8.
Acting as a sequel to Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter is released on June 10. Featuring new mysteries to solve, The Devil’s Daughter is a Sherlock Holmes story you have not seen before.
After many delays, Mighty No. 9 will finally release on June 21. Acting as the spiritual successor to Mega Man, Mighty No. 9 features the same side-scrolling, boss-fighting action you expect in a Mega Man game, but under a new name.
The Technomancer is a sci-fi action RPG set on Mars. Releasing on June 28, The Technomancer has players take on the role of a young Technomancer, someone with the ability to manipulate electricity using powerful implants.
The latest LEGO game is all about The Force Awakens. The latest Star Wars movie offers inspiration for many of the playable levels in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but some levels feature events that happen before the movie. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens releases on June 28.
Featuring another take on the zombie survival genre, 7 Days To Die blends first-person combat, survival horror, tower defense and role-playing into one game. The PS4 and Xbox One versions, releasing on June 28, will also support local split-screen, online multiplayer and more.
PS4
These are the games coming to only PS4 in June.
One of many JRPGs getting released this month, Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book sees our hero Sophie Neuenmuller get paired up with a book that’s been turned into a human. Atelier Sophie is coming out on June 7.
For fighting game fans, Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator will be releasing on June 7. Featuring new characters to the Guilty Gear franchise, Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator looks to be the best Guilty Gear game yet.
A remake of the original PS2 classic Odin Sphere, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir is an action RPG steeped in Norse mythology. Odin Sphere Leifthrasir also gets released on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita on June 7.
A spin-off of Resident Evil, Umbrella Corps is an online shooter coming to PS4 and PC on June 21. Consisting of maps from Raccoon City and other Resident Evil games, Umbrella Corps brings more action than your typical survival horror game.
In anticipation for GOD EATER 2: Rage Burst, GOD EATER: Resurrection will be coming to PS4, PC and PS Vita on June 28. GOD EATER: Resurrection features remastered graphics and upgrades from the original GOD EATER Burst release.
Grand Kingdom features a world filled with four major political powers. Based on your actions in this tactical RPG, you and your team can ally with one of the four powers or forge a path of your own. Grand Kingdom will release on June 17.
Set between the events of the second and third game, Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is an action RPG taking place on the far away planet of Faykreed. The latest Star Ocean game is set to release on June 28.
Xbox One
These are the games coming to Xbox One in June
While already available on other platforms, Among The Sleep makes its Xbox One debut on June 3. This horror adventure game imagines a world as viewed through the eyes of a baby. It’s creepy.
Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride was originally launched on Steam and mobile devices, but this puzzle game is now making the jump to Xbox One on June 10. Set in the village of Ravenbrook, players must solve puzzles to reveal the mysteries of the bottomless pit known as The Abyss.
While there’s no formal release date yet, We Happy Few is scheduled for a June release on Xbox One and PC. Set in a really creepy “perfect society,” We Happy Few sees players explore what’s really going on behind the forced smiles of everyone around you.

This is a pretty easy month. Seeing as how the Xbox One lineup consists almost entirely of ports, the June winner is PS4! Be sure to check back next month to see what console has the better lineup of releasing games.
