Can’t go outside this weekend? Well, no problem. Here’s a game you could enjoy during these hard times. Rogue Company, the multiplayer third-person shooter developed by First Watch Games is now completely free. Well technically, it’s in Open Beta. The game is available on all platforms, which includes Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. PC players can download it from the Epic Games Store. Check out the Rogue Company Open Beta announcement trailer below.

That’s not all though, as First Watch Games has also said that the Open Beta will bring a brand new playable character for everyone to enjoy. You will be able to play as a former military officer named Dahlia, who is a battle-hardened veteran that gets the job done.

We know that Rogue Company isn’t exactly a popular game, but that doesn’t mean that finding a match will be difficult. First Watch Games has also added cross-play support for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. New post-launch content has also been announced that will be free for everyone. This includes more features, ranked play, custom matches, and more. You don’t have to pay a single penny for them. However, there is a Battle Pass in the game which will only include cosmetics items.

First Watch Games has claimed that Rogue Company is not pay-to-win. Microtransaction will be limited to cosmetics items only. Who knows, maybe with continuous support this game could become the next big thing.

“From July's early access launch we’ve gathered a huge community of over two million cross-platform gunslingers," Executive Producer Chris Laron said. "Their invaluable feedback has ensured the game keeps getting better and better. By making the game free and delivering an ever-growing roster of mercenaries, game modes, weapons, and gadgets we're incredibly excited for many more players to join us in Rogue Company.”
