Invictus Gaming vs. FAV gaming
The match between these two teams started on Consulate, which is an attacker-sided map. Invictus started on defense and they played a very roam-heavy playstyle. FAV was unable to contest their opponents' roams and aggressive plays, which lost them four rounds. The first half resulted in a 4-2 scoreline in favor of Invictus. FAV failed to find an opening after the side switch, letting their opponents win the game with a 7-4 scoreline.
The second map was played on Clubhouse, which is a map that demands coordination. Invictus is a really strategy-oriented team and this gave them the upper hand on Clubhouse. The Montagne ban from FAV was a counter against a player from Invictus. The Montagne player usually walks up garage stairs and pressures the defenders without much effort. Invictus started the first half on defense and took five rounds, which resulted in the first half being a 5-1 split. Invictus carried over their momentum to the second half and won the match with a 7-2 scoreline.
This loss for FAV knocked them out of the playoffs. On the other hand, Invictus will move forward in the lower bracket run.
QConfirm vs. Fnatic
