Rainbow Six Siege Blood Orchid only released a month ago, but a scheduled maintenance on Thursday, Sept. 28, suggests Ubisoft still has a lot of work to do. According to an announcement on reddit, the scheduled server maintenance will hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and will feature two critical patches as well.

Ubisoft confirms the maintenance schedule will hit PlayStation 4 first, at 9 a.m. EDT. Next, the Xbox One will receive its server maintenance at 10 a.m. EDT, followed by PC at 11 a.m. EDT. Expect the downtime to take approximate 15 minutes for all platforms.

The server maintenance session will deliver a Rainbow Six Siege 3.1.1 patch that attends to two key issues: a Collision Issue Fix for consoles and a Negative XP Issue Fix that specifically affects PS4 players.

According to a reddit post last Thursday, the "Collision Issue Fix" specifically addresses collision exploiting, or when a player collides with another player, an object, or with a shield. As Player. One mentioned in an article earlier this week, shield exploits creat map glitches that plagues virtually every map in Siege. I, for one, am definitely glad Ubisoft has addressed the issue at a relatively timely manner.
