Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is celebrating the Halloween season with a new limited-time event. Doktor's Curse starts today, October 23, and end November 6. The limited-time event offers a Frankenstein-inspired redesign of the Theme Park map, new features in Monster Hunt mode, and scary new seasonal skins.
Monster Hunt
The Monster Hunt mode has five monster-hunting Attackers go against five monstrous Defenders. The attacking team is made up of five Sledges, each one equipped with one of three hammers created for the event. Team members can also choose to carry one gadget, which includes:
- Jackal
- track footsteps
- Pulse
- locate heartbeats
- Lion
- reveal position of any enemy in motion
Meanwhile, the defending team has Frost, Ela, Lesion, Smoke, and Kapkan. Each player in the defending team can only use their traps along with a special ability which makes them momentarily invisible and quicker on their feet. Since the defenders have no guns, no drones, and no cameras, this results in tense pursuits as the Attackers try to track and kill the monsters. Thus, Defenders need to work together to delay and evade the hunters until time runs out.
Seasonal Skins
The seven operators, Frost, Ela, Lesion, Smoke, Kapkan, Bandit, and Doc, are all getting new, creepy headgear and uniforms. New weapon skins and charms are also available. All of these can be accessed through the Doktor's Curse packs. Players also get a free pack for logging in during the event and earn two more packs by completing two special Ubisoft Club Challenges. Packs can be also purchased with Renown or R6 credits.
Doktor's Curse is already playable starting today through November 6 in Rainbow Six Siege on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
