Rainbow Six Siege's LATAM League 2020 stage two concluded its third playday and the results are here. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the matches have been held online. The LATAM League had some really exciting matches to watch this week, with all the matches played as a best of two format.

The best matchup for the third playday was between NiP and Team Liquid. The first map was played on Oregon, which is a utility-heavy map. Liquid was executing properly on their attacks and took the first three rounds with ease, but after that NiP started gaining momentum by outraging Liquid. Both teams played the map really well and things ended in a 6-6 draw. The second map was played on Consulate, which is an attacker-sided map. NiP was able to counter Liquid’s defense with ease, which allowed NiP to take the map with a 7-5 scoreline.

Another exciting match to watch was between FaZe and Team oNe. The first map was played on Consulate. T1 was super dominating on their defense, which is surprising as Consulate is known to favor the attacking side. FaZe did try a lot of new strategies that included operators such as Mira, Oryx, and Pulse with a shotgun. This didn’t matter, as T1 won the first map with a 7-3 scoreline.

The second map was played on Coastline, which is a frag-heavy map. This match seemed like it would be an easy win for FaZe given they have more experience. However, T1 surprised us with their insane fragging ability and dominated FaZe with a 7-2 scoreline. Neither team showed any impressive strategies, but T1 showed us how to properly hold bomb sites.
