Rainbow Six Siege North American League Stage 2 has finished its sixth playday. The top four teams from this region will qualify for the Six August 2021 Major, which is held in Mexico. The North American League is currently being played on LAN following COVID-19 preventive measures.
Spacestation Gaming vs. Team SoloMid
The matchup between Spacestation Gaming and Team SoloMid was played on Chalet. SSG banned Jackal to counter TSM as its players ran the operators a lot. SSG did really well on defense, winning the first half with a 4-2 scoreline. SSG followed by winning the next three rounds and took the game with a 7-2 scoreline. SSG secured a spot in the Six Major. The team showed exceptional performance as the first placer in North American League without a single loss.
XSET vs. Mirage
XSET and Mirage decided to play on Kafe Dostoyevsky, which is a map you don’t see too often after the Chalet rework. The match was super defender-sided as Mirage took the first defense with a 4-2 scoreline, and then, XSET took the second half with a 5-1 scoreline. XSET still won the game with a 7-5 scoreline after getting more wins on defense.
Oxygen Esports vs. Susquehanna Soniqs
The match was played on Chalet, which is an attacker-sided map. Oxygen is currently struggling to win any match in Stage 2, and this continued after losing against Soniqs. Oxygen was only able to get one round on the attack that showed a terrible start in the first half of the game. Since Soniqs had the upper hand in terms of score, it was able to get more confident enough to close the match with a 7-3 scoreline. Soniqs are currently in third place and if it gets more wins, a spot for the Six Major is definitely possible.
