On Monday, the official Rainbow Six Siege Twitter teased a new Polish attack operator coming to the Operation White Noise DLC. The tweet read, “… Leaders learn to make the tough decisions quickly.” Everyone, say hello to Zofia:
Ubisoft has yet to officially reveal the new Polish attacker and South Korean operators expected to arrive in the Siege White Noise update, but dataminers have already disclosed some interesting details. Siege YouTuber NukemDukem first reported the new GROM operator last week, when an accidental leak from Ubisoft Spain revealed the same image and a similar slogan: “… the great learn to make decisions quickly.”
According to NukemDukem, Zofia’s teaser image also features her special gadget, the DP-64, a Russian-made double-barreled over-under grenade launcher. The launcher can be loaded with two different projectiles, a la Capitão’s combination of asphyxiating bolts and smoke grenades. We don’t know what combinations are available for Zofia, but a leak on 4chan suggests Zofia can toggle between stun and grenade.
This past weekend, we reported another Rainbow Six Siege leak regarding a South Korean operator that goes by the code name Dokkaebi. According to Korean folklore, Dokkaebi is a goblin that “possesses extraordinary powers and abilities that are used to interact with humans, at times playing tricks on them and at times helping them.”
Via a leak on 4chan, the South Korean defender has the ability to toggle invisibility to drone/cameras while the attacking operator can cause all gadgets to give off a loud noise so they can be located. It’s not clear which operator is “Dokkaebi,” but it’s clear that both tactical abilities are extremely significant to a team’s intel strategy.
Stay tuned as we expect Ubisoft to unveil more details regarding the map and operators of the Rainbow Six Siege White Noise update during the Rainbow Six Pro League Season 3 Finals at Sao Paulo, Brazil, starting on Nov. 18.
