Where Can I Buy The Latest Raspberry Pi 3 Model B?
The Raspberry Pi foundation has partnered with several component retailers to offer the latest Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. Among them are element 14 and RS Components. RS Components sells the model itself but also has a few authorized resellers listed including, ThePiHut ModMyPi and New IT.
- Element 14 has the Raspberry Pi 3 for sale for $42.98 with shipping (tax varies depending on location). The site is getting hammered with orders so if the page won't load initially, try again.
- ThePiHut has the Raspberry Pi 3 for sale for approximately $49.25 with shipping but there doesn't appear to be any tax included.
- ModMyPi has the Raspberry Pi 3 for sale for approximately $41.75 with tax but shipping cost wasn't indicated. There was also message on the page stating that the demand for Raspberry Pi 3 units may mean a few days delay on order dispatch.
- New IT has the Raspberry Pi 3 for sale for approximately $41.55 with tax but shipping cost wasn't indicated.
- RS Components' Raspberry Pi 3 Model B price is higher than the other resellers. The model is priced at $56.18 at RS Components but the shipping is free.

The newest Raspberry Pi 3 Model B boasts a power 64-bit processor with a speed of 1.2Ghz: that’s 10 times faster than the earlier Pi 2 model. It also includes an upgraded switched power source up to 2.5 Amps that allows the miniature computer to power up even more powerful devices over USB ports.
