If you’re in the market for a new kind of cooking simulator, Ravenous Devils could be the game for you. That’s because it adds psycho-horror to the mix.
The game is inspired by the back streets of 19th Century London. It focuses on the married couple Percival and Hildred, and their goal is simple, which is to be the best eatery and tailor establishments in the city.
How do those two relate? From the clients who enter their shop and never come out. You see, Percival runs a tailor shop, and every time someone comes in to look for a new outfit, they get slaughtered. Percival then mixes and matches the clothes worn, patches them up, and presents them as his own creation.
What happens to the bodies you ask? It’s dropped through a hidden trapdoor, all the way to where Hildred is more than ready to make meat pies, sausages, and even steaks, out of them. If you think that’s messed up, then what were you expecting from a game titled Ravenous Devils?
In a statement, Bad Vices Games Game Director Cristian Gambadori shared that when it comes to their games, they always push the boundaries. Their previous releases raised more than just eyebrows and for Gambadori, this upcoming game is their greatest offering yet. He added that the point-and-click simulation experience mixed with bloody story and gameplay along with the infamous ambiance of London is sure to give an experience unlike any other.
Meanwhile, Troglobytes Games CEO and Game Designer Saverio Caporusso revealed that the game offers a combination of horror, cooking, simulation, and micro-management. He said that they were intrigued about this game from the start, and they are happy to see that the game is about to be launched. Caporusso went on to say that Ravenous Devil is good for those who like blood and gore.
