For the past couple of weeks, Red Dead Online was mainly about the Naturalist role and featured the addition of many new Legendary Beasts. It appears that everyone can take a bit of a breather this week as Rockstar is giving players a chance to go into business. However, we have to warn you this week’s update is rather lean, to say the least.
Beginning on November 3 and running until November 9, Traders get a reward of 25 free Trader Goods for simply logging in to Red Dead Online. Moonshiners also get a reward for one free Mash Refill for doing the same thing. That’s not all, as players that finish a Trader or Moonshine Sale get to earn a Treasure Map. Players are sure to be able to fill their Satchel not only with rarities, but also valuables of all sorts.
In addition, players that manage to reach at least Rank 5, regardless of the role, get a free horse. For those who want to increase the steeds they manage, all Stable Stalls are available at 30% off at the Stables.
Also beginning this week, the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue is offering different items for sale, but for a limited time only. These are:
- The Tasman Outfit
- The Danube Outfit
- Morning Tail Coat
- Benbow Jacket
- Squat Stovepipe Hat
- Gator Hat
- Manteca Hat
- Gardenia Hat
- Plaid Cap
- Hitched Skirt
- Tied Pants
- Carver Pants
- Woodland Gloves
- Ortega Vest
- Strickland Boots
- Calhoun Boots
- Limited-edition colorways of the Patterned Bandana
That’s pretty much it this week. Well, there also the rewards for Prime Gaming. These are for Red Dead Online players that connect their Rockstar Games Social Club account to Prime Gaming. The Rewards include:
- Five free Legendary Animal Pheromones
- 6,000 Naturalist XP
- A Reward for a free Wilderness Camp
- A free Katata Coat crafted from the Legendary Katata Elk hide
Players that manage to connect to Prime Gaming before November 16 also get these:
- Reward for a free Single Bandolier
- Offers for 50% off a Double Bandolier
- Offers for 50% off the Deluxe Campfire
- Offers for 30% off the Improved Bow
Upcoming Update
There could be a reason why there’s not much available this week. It looks like Rockstar is currently working on the next big update. For those who’ve been following, Red Dead Online released its Naturalist update back in July, which you can read about here.
It looks like there’s a new expansion being planned. In a report by PCGamesN, citing GameStar as its source, Design Director Scott Butchard said the new update is going to be “more action-oriented.” The report went on to say that this upcoming update is going to expand an existing role “and that it should provide plenty of opportunities for action-packed shootouts that strike what the Wild West is all about.”
So what do you think? Which role do you think is going to be updated? Let us know in the comments section below.
