Returnal, the rogue-like PlayStation 5-exclusive title, just received an update today. Patch 1.4.0 makes adjustments to the Trophies system, improves UI elements, fixes bugs related to audio, and adds some balancing changes.
From now on, you can replay some Act 1 and Act 2 trophies. You will also be able to unlock Trophies retroactively, which you can’t replay. Four Scout Logs will now appear more often in more locations. When firing a weapon, HUD labels for items will be hidden. The audio sync bug issue in the secret ending is fixed, and players can now change audio input from the game’s menu.
The game still doesn’t support a manual save game system. So, if you have to go somewhere mid-run, then you will have to put your PS5 in Rest Mode. Also, updating the game will close the game. So, you might wanna finish your run before updating. Some of the changes made by the update are mentioned below.
