Rick and Morty co-creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have already described their ideal game. “Minecraft has the lo-fi thing in exchange for this amazing… creation of the world as you walk into it,” Harmon said. “So you have a portal gun and you shoot it and you can go to really specific dimensions but you can also go to really random ones that are just put together.”
Perhaps something like Minecraft meets Rick and Morty is in the works, but for now, while you’re looking to fill the long, dull days before Rick and Morty Season 3, how about a card game and a Mr. Meeseeks dice game?
Yep, the proliferation of Rick and Morty paraphernalia has reached a new stage. Miniature Market has pre-order pages for two new Rick and Morty games: Rick and Morty: Mr. Meeseeks’ Box O’ Fun and Rick and Morty: Total Rickall.
Mr. Meeseeks’ Box O’ Fun is a “Dice and Dares Game” where players draw cards with tasks, then may be forced to summon Mr. Meeseeks to help. It comes complete with a talking Mr. Meeseek’s box, because there’s no way that could get tiring.
Total Rickall sounds like a lot more fun. Based on the fantastic Rick and Morty episode of the same name, Total Rickall is a cooperative card game where players work together to uncover all the shapeshifting alien parasites in their midst.
Both Rick and Morty games from Cryptozoic Entertainment will be out before Season 3, with Total Rickall releasing in June and Mr. Meeseeks’ Box O’ Fun a month or three after.
