Season 2: Showdown of Riders Republic is all set to launch tomorrow, April 27. There are new mass races like the new Showdown arena which has its own multiplayer mode. Players can also look forward to equipping new gears known as "toys," which offer a new way to play. That's not all since there's a little something for bike fans. They can now ride on a single wheel in style on the front or back wheel on all bikes, except heavy ones.
Season 2 is going to be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia.
Showdown Arena
The Showdown arena is a 6v6 multiplayer mode where two teams compete in gathering as many lightning bolts as they can. As teams collect lightning, they need to deliver them to their banking zone to score points. However, one team can trick the other into bailing before banking and thus collect fallen bolts.
At the start of the game, players can choose one special toy which can either help them or disrupt their opponents. For example, the Spider allows players to drop traps as well as super-jump across the map. The Juggernaut allows players to charge at their enemies and destroy their traps. Meanwhile, the Sniper allows for snowballs to be fired at enemies. This means that teams need to choose a toy fitting their strategy.
New Clan
Players can look forward to the new clan feature in Season 2. What this does is let players create their own community through an in-game-specific friends list for a maximum of 64 members. Players can name their own clan and make it public or private. In addition, each member can have their clan tag added to their username during the game.
Other New Content
Players can take on the new season progression, which runs over seven weeks, and unlocks exclusive rewards. There are also special activities and live events like the Rabbids Takeover event which starts on May 18.
Year 1 Pass
For those who have the Year 1 Pass, they get early access to two toys, which are the Spider and the Juggernaut. The Year 1 Pass comes with the Riders Republic Gold or Ultimate Edition. It can also be obtained as a stand-alone purchase. Players can also get the Welcome Pack, which comes with 2,300 Republic Coins and a new legendary outfit.
Riders Republic is a sports video game released in October 2021. It's an MMO that focuses on sports and allows as many as 64 players to compete with each other. The four main activities in the game are mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, and wingsuit flying.
